Skyesports will be going international with their upcoming tournament, Skyesports Championship 5.0. After announcing the inclusion of Counter-Strike 2 in Championship 5.0, Skyesports has started revealing the invited teams for the European Qualifiers. Under the tagline, Path To Pro, Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 will feature open qualifiers, closed qualifiers for invited teams from Europe and UAE, and a 'very special guest.' According to rumours, s1mple and his team NAVI is expected to be the special guest for the tournament. The EU Closed Qualifiers for Championship 5.0 CS2 will run from 23 October to 26 October 2023.
Skyesports has announced four invited teams, Aurora 1xBet Gaming, B8 Esports, Team SoloMid (TSM), and NAVI Junior, for the European closed qualifiers. Skyesports will eventually reveal more teams and information on the Championship 5.0 CS2 tournament, which will take place in Mumbai.

Team SoloMid (TSM) To Be Part Of Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 Tournament
In their recent announcement, Skyesports announced TSM and NAVI Junior as their third and fourth invited teams for the upcoming EU closed qualifiers. European closed qualifiers will start on 23 October 2023, and Skyesports is expected to reveal the information for India and Middle-East Qualifiers soon. The winner from the closed qualifiers will fly to India for the Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 LAN, Mumbai. Championship 5.0 CS2 LAN will be a three-day event from 1 December 2023 to 3 December 2023.
Apart from the EU closed qualifiers, Championship 5.0 CS2 will feature India and Middle-East Qualifiers. After the first-ever franchised-based CS:GO tournament, Skyesports Masters, Skyesports will look forward to including Indian teams and giving them international exposure. Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 will feature a prize pool of $100,000, totalling Skyesports' investment in Counter-Strike's prize money to Rs. 80,00,000.
While it was rumoured that Natus Vincere (NAVI) and OG would be part of the event, NAVI Junior, NAVI's academy lineup, will play the European closed qualifiers for Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2. While Skyesports has confirmed the rumour of NAVI's participation, fans wonder whether NAVI's main lineup and s1mple will make it to India for Skyesports Championship CS2 5.0.
Previously, the Skyesports Championship 5.0 CS2 announcement poster included the Coming Soon text, which followed NAVI's colour theme. To make things more clear, Shiva Nandy, Founder and CEO of Skyesports, has been sharing posts related to Skyesports Championship 5.0 with a NAVI keychain and texts that include the word s1mple, the star Counter-Strike player for NAVI.
Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI LAN will take place at Koramangala Indoor Stadium in Bangalore from 1 November 2023 to 5 November 2023. The Championship 5.0 BGMI tournament will feature Rs. 25,00,000 prize pool for the BGMI semifinals, while Rs. 1,25,00,000 for BGMI LAN finals out of the total Rs. 2,12,00,000 prize pool.
