Xbox announced their return to Gamescom, the world's largest computer and video game event, in Cologne, Germany. They have revealed their plans for the four-day event, hyping the largest booth at Gamescom. The 4-day event kicks off on 24 August 2023, and the Xbox booth will host 150 gaming stations and a specially constructed 300-seater theatre for exclusive presentations from the world's top developers.
Xbox FanFest will return to Gamescom alongside an Xbox-sponsored Devcom for all the developers and various community events.

What to Expect from Xbox at the Gamescom Cologne
Xbox claims to have a "bigger than ever" Xbox booth for the attendees. The booth will have over 150 gaming stations consisting of over 30 titles. The few games mentioned by Xbox are:
- GSCC Game World's S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2
- Overkill Software
- Starbreeze Studio's Payday 3
- Jusant
- ARMORED CORE VI: Fires of Rubicon
- Party Animals
- Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

Stoic will also unveil the latest Towerborne at the Xbox Showcase. Xbox booth will host many PC Game Pass Challenges with heavy prizes, including PC Game Pass memberships, OMEN Gaming Laptops, HyperX Headsets and NVIDIA GeForce NOW Ultimate memberships.
Gamescom will begin on 24 August 2023, and the Xbox booth will be at Hall 8 of the Koenmesse, North entrance. Here are the timings for the consumer show opening:

Xbox FanFest, Devcom and Live From The Showfloor
Xbox will also host Xbox FanFest for all the attendees and online viewers. At FanFest, players can connect with Team Xbox and their fellow Xbox players. Everyone can participate in the Xbox FanFest Trivia from around the globe to win exciting prizes.
Devcom, an official game developer event of Gamescom, will be sponsored by Xbox. All developers can hop at the Devcom Community Clubhouse to get a chance to interact with industry leaders from Niantic, SEGA, Next Games, Rovio Entertainment Group and Supercell.
