Sonos has finally launched its first pair of headphones, the Sonos Ace, in the Indian market. As per the company, these new over-the-ear Bluetooth headphones are designed with a focus on high-quality audio performance. The Sonos Ace features lossless and spatial audio capabilities, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and Aware Mode.
The new Sonos Ace headphones are also integrated with the company’s TrueCinema technology, to enhance the immersive home theatre experience. The company has launched its headphones in India at a price of Rs 39,999 in two color options– Black and Soft White. The headphones will be up for grabs starting September 11.

Sonos Debuts In The Indian Market
Sonos Ace headphones mark the company’s debut in the personal listening space. The company claims its headphones are designed to deliver high-quality sound and comfort. These over-the-ear Bluetooth headphones feature two custom-designed drivers to deliver clear and accurate audio across all frequencies. Whether listening to music, podcasts, or on a call, the Ace aims to offer a detailed and immersive listening experience.
The headphones also come with the ability to transform personal listening into a private camera experience. The headphones come equipped with spatial audio support, including Dolby Atmos, to provide a surround sound effect. This feature is further enhanced by dynamic head tracking, making sure that the sound remains centered and consistent even as users move around.
The company also highlights that the headphones can switch audio from a compatible Sonos soundbar to the headphones with a press of a button, making it easy for users who want to enjoy a personal listening experience. Moreover, the company plans to introduce its new TrueCinema technology later this year. This feature will enable users to map their space and create an immersive surround sound system, further enhancing the home theatre experience.

Sonos Ace Headphones Design Aspects
Meanwhile, the Sonos Ace comes with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to block out external noise. Battery life is said to be another strong point for the Sonos Ace, with the company promising up to 30 hours of listening or talk time on a full charge. Besides, the headphones feature ultra-fast charging; a quick 3-minute charge using the included USB-C cable provides up to 3 hours of playback.
Speaking of the design, the Sonos Ace comes with a slim profile with metal accents and a matte finish. The headband and ear cups are made from pillowy soft memory foam wrapped in vegan leather, providing a snug yet comfortable. The headphones come with intuitive controls and color-coded ear cups that guide the user on the correct way to wear them.
