The Galaxy Tab S10 series and S24 FE saw the daylight recently and the Galaxy AI suite was one of the dominating features in the marketing side. While all of the new AI features are currently available for free, Samsung once again hinted that it might not be the case for too long.
One of the footnotes in the official press release for the new Tab S10 series and S24 FE explicitly mentions that “Fees may apply to certain AI features at the end of 2025.”
Samsung previously confirmed that “Galaxy AI features will be provided for free until the end of 2025 on supported Samsung Galaxy devices,” so it is safe to assume that Samsung’s AI suite, or certain parts of it, will, in fact, require a payment starting 2025.

Samsung Tries To Overshadow Apple’s AI With Big Update
The same day Apple launched its new iPhones, Samsung brought the latest version of its OneUI and new Galaxy AI features to customers across the globe. One UI 6.1.1 went live for the Galaxy S24 series on September 5, and just four days later, the update is making its way to Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra owners across the world.
Is this really a coincidence, or did Samsung plan this whole thing to steam Apple’s thunder? Well, it seems like the latter. It looks a little too deliberate to be a coincidence, especially since Samsung doesn’t usually provide specific dates for the rollout of One UI and Android updates, a tradition it chucked for One UI 6.1.1.
With the One UI 6.1.1 update, Samsung is going strong towards its commitment to bring Galaxy AI available to as many users as possible. The tech giant introduced Galaxy AI earlier this year with the Galaxy S24 series, and instead of asking users to upgrade to the new phones to access Galaxy AI, Samsung made it available to its existing customer base through a software update.

Samsung Planning To Launch Rollable Phone In 2025
Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch a groundbreaking smartphone featuring a rollable display, which could hit the market as early as 2025. This innovative device is said to have a flexible display that will extend outward, transforming into a significantly larger display when needed. If the launch timeline turns out to be true, this would mark six years since the company launched its first foldable device.
Although Samsung has yet to officially confirm the development of this new device, the company has a track record of launching cutting-edge technologies, including a hybrid model that both folds and slides.
As per a report from The Elec, Samsung’s upcoming rollable might expand to a 12.4-inch display, matching the size of some tablets. If accurate, this display would surpass the recently launched Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design, which sports a 10.2-inch display.
