An official post from Square Enix and Final Fantasy 16's Twitter/X handle has revealed a PC version of the title alongside its two DLC plans. Final Fantasy XVI launched on June 22, 2023, exclusively for PlayStation 5. The label initially received a lukewarm reception but slowly garnered a fanbase over the next few weeks. After its launch, Final Fantasy fans quickly asked Square Enix for a PC version. Fast forward to September, the developers have officially paid heed to the fans.
Final Fantasy XVI offers a gorgeous world of Valisthea where players step into the shoes of Clive Rosfield, the firstborn son of the Duke of Rosaria. The title delivers well-detailed quests and a classic Final Fantasy story that fans have asked for.

Final Fantasy 16 Will Soon Get a PC Version Alongside Two Paid DLCs
Producer Naoki Yoshida for Final Fantasy XVI shared official information alongside a significant update for the PlayStation 5 version of the game. He mentioned that it has been over two months since the title's release, and they have received significant feedback from the fans. He said the development team pays special attention to what fans think of the game. Moreover, the developers know that fans have asked for a PC version. He later added that he can give fans more information on the DLCs and the PC version before 2023 ends.
Since this is an official statement from the Producer, fans are looking forward to a PC port ahead of the year's final months. Moreover, the best part about this news is that PC fans will possibly receive the complete game alongside its upcoming DLCs. Regarding the game's PC version, Yoshida mentioned that the title is a six-month limited-time exclusive on the PS5. He also added that the title will not come out in half a year for PC. While the PC announcement is official, fans must wait before developers can announce a definitive date.
