Apple seems to focusing on creating the thinnest-ever models across its product portfolio after the recent launch of the ultraslim iPad Pro during its Let Loose event. According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple has plans to launch similar designs for the iPhone 17, MacBook Pro, and Apple Watch.
Gurman suggests that the company aims to launch a “Skinnier iPhone 17 model by 2025.” The recent launch of the thinner iPad Pro in May showcased the company’s renewed interest in producing slimmer products without compromising on performance or battery life.

Apple To Use Thinner Motherboards Foror iPhone 17
Gurman’s sources suggest that Apple is committed to reducing the thickness across its product portfolio. The company reportedly wants to set a new industry benchmark for thinness and portability with these revamped products.
He notes that the success of the latest iPad Pro, launched in April, has inspired the company to adopt a similar strategy for upcoming products. This strategy includes thinner designs for laptops and smartwatches, continuing the company’s tradition of innovation in thin and lightweight devices.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's predictions from late 2023 corroborate with these plans, suggesting that Apple will leverage advanced tech, such as thinner motherboards, for its future high-end iPhone 17 models. While specific launch dates are yet to be mentioned, the report suggests that Apple is also redesigning the MacBook Pro and Apple Watch with a similar slimmed-down approach.

Recently, Jeff Pu forecasted that the iPhone 16 series would be the last series to see the launch of a Plus model. Now, a fresh report suggests that The Information gives more information about the iPhone 17, claiming that the iPhone 16 Plus will indeed be the last iteration of the Plus models.
