Just after hosting their State of Play event in September 2023, Sony PlayStation might be ready with another State of Play presentation on 31 January 2024. While Sony PlayStation has given word on the event, renowned gaming industry insider @Shpeshal_Nick shared a cryptic post on his X (former Twitter), which might indicate the potential games' update to be announced on 31 January 2024.
In the previous State of Play event, PlayStation revealed a series of popular titles like Resident Evil 4 VR Mode, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Ghostrunner 2, Honkai: Star Rail, and Insomniac's work on the highly anticipated Marvel's Spider-Man 2. For the upcoming State of Play, Sony PlayStation might be sharing updates on highly acclaimed games like Silent Hill 2, Death Stranding 2 and more.

Silent Hill 2, Death Stranding 2, Until Dawn Remaster, Sonic Generation Remaster Might Be Revealed In The Upcoming Sony PlayStation State Of Play
Nick Baker, the co-founder of XboxEra, might have given gaming fans a New Year gift with his riddled post on X. His post read:
On the 31st (roughly), Ronins will Rise, we'll die stranded, have a rebirth and Kojima will fulfil his dream. Sonic will live in the shadow of his generation while the hills will remain silent until the dawn when you'll need to catch the metro. Just don't be a Judas about it.
Baker's tweet wasn't hard to decipher, and fans knew what games he was talking about. Per Baker, the games that will be revealed on 31 January 2024 at the Sony PlayStation State of Play event are:
- Rise of the Ronin
- Death Stranding 2
- Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
- Sonic Generations Remaster
- Until Dawn Remaster
- Silent Hill 2
- New Metro game
- Judas
A couple of fans were unhappy after finding Stellar Blade out of the list. Per Baker, the list might not be 100% completed, and a couple of games might be added or removed. Here is what Baker replied to the Stellar Blade fans:
There's a decent chance that like last time, the list isn't 100% complete. So maybe Stellar Blade *is* there but it wasn't part of what I received.
For the games that were mentioned in Baker's list, Death Stranding 2 could be an interesting name as the fans are also speculating that Sony might show their fans the Death Stranding movie alongside the updates on the much-awaited Death Stranding 2. Fans will have to wait for Sony to reveal the final dates for the Sony PlayStation State of Play, where all the fan favourite titles will be unveiled.
