The recent news of Twitch's top streamer, xQc, striking a whopping $100 million deal with Kick drove the streaming community into a frenzy. As the site continues to sign deals with well-known streamers, rumours about DrDisrespect's potential involvement quickly spread.

Doc himself encouraged these rumors by hinting at a significant and pricey refurbishment for his streaming "arena."
Few individuals have made as lasting an impression on the streaming scene as the seasoned Call of Duty streamer Dr. DisRespect. Given his enormous popularity and influence in the industry, it's hardly surprising that Kick is attempting to sign the Doc.

Kick CEO Says He's Enthusiastic About Getting Dr. DisRespect To Kick

Jake Lucky's interview with Kick CEO Ed Craven included a direct question about Dr. DisRespect joining the platform. Ed responded:

"Dr Disrespect I've personally been a massive fan of for a long time, just as I've been a massive fan of a lot of streamers and Doc is one of them as well. Having a chance to work alongside these guys is so f*cking cool and we want to give streamers what they're worth. We're talking with his team and most people have open communication lines with us."

To showcase Kick's desire to work with the streaming behemoth, Craven continued by revealing conversations his team has had with Dr. DisRespect's staff. He emphasized their willingness to collaborate with a variety of streamers in an effort to provide them the respect and payment they merit. However, Craven refrained from commenting specifically on the Doc's alleged demand of $50 million.

Dr. DisRespect expressed his concerns about signing with Kick after the interview. He said that he is attempting to weigh the potential effects of streaming merely three days a week. The streaming community is still intrigued by the mystery surrounding Dr. DisRespect's potential switch to Kick. The Doc will have to carefully consider his options taking into account variables like streaming frequency, his big game studio endeavour, and the widespread popularity of Black Steel Bourbon.

The choice made by Dr. DisRespect has the potential to shake up the streaming market much like xQc did. As for what the 41-year-old streamer decides, time will tell.
