Things seem to be getting turbulent in the world of BGMI Esports. With many new players joining the scene, there are some veterans who are leaving the esports sector entirely. In a recent livestream, Destro, who was an integral part of Chemin Esports, answered pressing questions about the changes in the community.

Destro Hints At The Reason Why BGMI Pro 420op Left Esports

During the live stream, Destro was asked by his chat where 420op was and if he was still active in the BGMI pro scene. Responding to the question, Destro said:

“I haven’t talked to him for a while now. Last time I talked to him, I was in Gurgaon. He had recently bought a bike, and had invited over, but I couldn’t meet him”

He further added that he met 420op before that and had gone out to eat and catch up. However, he reiterated that he doesn’t know anything about 420op’s competitive future, but hasn't seen him scrimming recently. He said:

“He’s doing good. I don’t think he’s continuing in esports anymore because I don’t think I’ve seen him playing for any team till now.”

In the same live stream, Destro answered why the team left Chemin. He explained that everything had boiled down to being paid. During the BGMI ban phase, many organizations were not paying their athletes and when the players got an opportunity to switch to a place where they were getting paid, they took it up. He said:

“Everything in Chemin was smooth, but we got an opportunity in the ban period, and we took that opportunity.”

He also added that they have nothing against Chemin and left on good terms overall and there's no bad blood between them.
