Another day, another controversy between GodLike and S8UL. It all started when Chetan 'Kronten' Chandgude was about to announce his new BGMI lineup while streaming BGMI on YouTube on October 1, 2023. Some people in his chat asked him to check out Mortal's story on Instagram where he commented that he doesn't want to comment on dead players. Many people found it offensive and disrespectful as Mortal is one of the most respected creators in India and across the world. He has represented India in PUBG and the content creation field, winning multiple titles and awards for his contribution to a budding industry in the nation.

Kronten Tries to Troll Mortal and S8UL

Members of S8UL Esports and a few other groups mocked GodLike Esports for creating such a buzz about its roster change before announcing the same lineup. Kronten allegedly referred to these trolls by names that were insulting to Team Soul and S8UL Esports. The primary argument started when Kronten alluded to a "dead player" metaphorically during one of his live streams. The gaming community, particularly followers of S8UL Esports, believed that this comment was about MortaL, even though he avoided mentioning any names.

With the heading "Your Dead Player is Back," Mortal sarcastically went live on his YouTube channel. He thanked his followers for their support during this stream and decided against taking the situation further. Mortal's remark showed maturity and a willingness to stay clear of pointless disputes.

Co-owner of S8UL Esports, Goldy, made it clear that there was no going back and that a line had been drawn. Kronten was warned by Goldy not to bring up or discuss S8UL Esports. He clarified that neither of them intended to bring up GodLike Esports. Despite conflicts, Goldy emphasized that S8UL Esports kept quiet in a polite manner even after GodLike Esports was removed from BGIS 2023.

Kronten revealed that he had already apologized to MortaL and made an effort to make things right with other members in S8UL. Kronten also commented that he does not have any more respect for Goldy as he could have sorted issues privately but he chose to make disrespectful remarks on his livestream.
