A week after Activision confirmed that it's transferring a selection of Modern Warfare 2 content to Call of Duty 2023, the game's artwork and logo seem to have been leaked. On Monday, a promotion kit for the Monster Energy X CoD collaboration was posted online and featured the game’s logo. Previously, it was pure speculation that the next title in the series would be Modern Warfare 3, but leaked advertising materials suggests rumours were true. First spotted by Twitter user @algebra_sloth, the leaks have been reported by some CoD fan accounts as well.
Besides the game's logo, the promotional material includes artwork featuring protagonist Captain Price with an MWIII logo, and fans have also spotted a pair of eyes within the background, which fans believe belong to one of the most significant villains in Modern Warfare Trilogy, Vladimir Makarov, the former Russian military officer who's also the founder of the Inner Circle.

It was rumoured earlier this year that the development of CoD 2023 would be led by Sledgehammer games and all of the Modern Warfare 2 operators, weapons, and bundles would be carried over into the latest installment in the series. A previous leak suggested that Modern Warfare 3 will carry over guns from Modern Warfare 2, since this year's entry was originally going to be an expansion for Modern Warfare 2.
Activision has confirmed that the game's official reveal will take place next month as part of Season 5 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. A previous leak said Modern Warfare 3 will carry over guns from Modern Warfare 2, which makes sense as it was heavily speculated this year's entry was originally going to be an expansion for Modern Warfare 2.
