Replying to a tweet posted by Let's Grow Esports, Zeyan, the co-owner of STE said that the biggest way of gaining sympathy in India right now is by putting STE in the middle of a controversy and automatically you will have people by your side. Zeyan didn't stop at that, he also poked fun at BB Esports and said that he doesn't need to reach out to a Tier 3 organisation to find good players for STE's BGMI Lineup.

Responding to Zeyan, Aryan Guleria, the manager of BB Esports said that none of the players and management took STE's name and Zeyan was unnecessarily getting involved in a situation where he is not needed. He also added that their organisation doesn't need a rating from someone who is trying to make their way into a region, they have an audience to decide which team is Tier 3 and which one is Tier 1.

Zeyan quickly understood his misinterpretation of the tweet by LGE and said that he assumed it was a dig at him and Stalwart Esports. He also said that he realised his mistake and was apologetic about what he said to BB Esports and deleted his previous tweet.

After both sides put forward their arguments, the fans continued to send hate to STE management and the owner. After a while, they moved their focus to other Tier 1 organisation owners who were also seen at the event and asked them if they were the ones trying to poach Big Brother Esports.

For the unversed, Big Brother Esports came in second at Krafton's BGIS 2023 LAN event. They also won a prize pool of Rs 35.5 lakh and Saif, who is was also named the MVP of the finals. While Big Brother Esports have not revealed the name of the organisation that tried to poach the players, they have released a statement saying that none of the players are leaving the lineup and are going to continue playing together in the upcoming events.
