With the release of the latest gacha title, Wuthering Waves, by Kuro Games, players are grinding hard to grab new characters, especially the five-star characters. Players can get their hands on the five-star characters for free by pulling the banners, which will be crucial in building a solid team in the game. 

Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play action-adventure game by Kuro Games. Wuthering Waves is another open-world gacha title that is competing against popular titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. The game is available to download on iOS, Android, and Microsoft Windows.

How To Unlock Five-Star Characters For Free In Wuthering Waves

In Wuthering Waves, players can get guaranteed five-star characters for free by pulling the banners. At the start of the game, players will have the Utterance of Marvels, which they can pull to get either of the three-star, four-star, or five-star characters. Utterance of Marvels guarantees that the player will get a five-star character within their first 50 pulls. Once the players get a five-star character, the banner gets replaced by the Beginner’s Choice Banner. 

After getting replaced by the Beginner’s Choice Banner, players can start pulling it again to grab another five-star character. In the Beginner’s Choice Banner, players are guaranteed to get a five-star character within the first 80 pulls. Beginner’s Choice Banner will ensure that the player has their second five characters.

At the time of the launch, the Utterance of Marvels and the Beginner’s Choice Banner were the only way to get guaranteed free five-star characters. To compensate for the rough launch of the game, Kuro Games decided to give a five-star character for free. All the players can grab the free five-star character from the in-game mail. The character can be claimed till 22 May 2025.
