Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition Discounted on Android and iOS Till January 17, 2024

Capcom's Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition is now available at a discounted price until January 17, 2024, on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The fourth mainline entry in the franchise was co-developed with Dimps and was released eleven years after Street Fighter III. The holiday season is the perfect time for gamers to hop on to the 2.5D fighting title that is also available on platforms other than Android and iOS. 

Currently, the discounted price allows gamers to enjoy the full game of Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition for just $2.99, offering a wide range of fighters and game modes to pick from.

Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition Discount Available Till Late January 2024 on iOS and Android

Street Fighter IV was released to a wide range of devices in 2008. In 2010, Campcom released a version of the game on iOS and also launched an exclusive LG version. Later in 2012, the game was available for all Android devices on the Play Store. After many updates and characters, Capcom launched the Champion Edition in July 2017, which had mixed reception from fans but still clocked a significant amount of hours by gamers following its launch. 

Fast forward to December 2023, Capcom has decided to offer a hefty discount on Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition on the Apple App Store and Android Play Store. The game is available for $2.99 on both platforms (earlier $4.99), and gamers can enjoy the full roster of fighters as they take on various opponents and real-time players in the multiplayer arena. 

Gamers can enjoy the single-player 'arcade' mode with a story and enjoy it at their pace or they can test their skills in multiplayer against other opponents. The title encompasses over 30 Street Fighter characters who come with their special moves and attack patterns to master. 

The Champion Edition also offers higher resolutions on iOS and Android with wide-screen support. Moreover, the iconic Street Fighter art style makes the game all the more vibrant even on mobile devices. After January 17, 2024, the game will go back to its original price on the App Store and Google Play Store.
