Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 3 Arriving Soon: Release Date, Weapons, and More

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone fans can rejoice, as a new season is arriving very soon to the game, which will bring a set of new content, including maps, weapons, and more. These additions have already been teased by Activision recently, and gamers expect them to shift the current meta of Warzone. 

With Warzone Mobile's global launch, gamers have been questioning which direction will the Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone take on the PC and consoles. With the upcoming update, gamers are ready to see what the developers have planned next. The new update is just about two weeks away.

When are Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 3 Updates Releasing?

According to Activision and Call of Duty's official blogs and X handles, the new Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 3 are dropping on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 9:00 am PT / 4:00 pm GMT / 9:30 pm IST. Considering the time frame from the last Call of Duty seasons, the upcoming season will also last for around eight weeks and will bring a mid-season refresh after four weeks, adding another set of new content to the game. 

As of now, there is no information on the second half of the season, and the batch of new content will bring in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. However, many gamers are suspecting another map addition or new weapons. 

All Maps and Weapon Changes in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 3

The return of the Rebirth Island is undoubtedly the highlight for Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 update. The unique map was inspired by Alcatraz Island, which is also considered a legendary Battle Royale map in the first Warzone game. With its return announced in the last COD Next event, fans have been excited to see what changes it's bringing. 

As for the weapons, leakers like the @CODWarfareForum on X have suggested three new weapon additions to the arsenal, which include Bal (Assault Rifle), Mors (Sniper), and the legendary MP9 SMG. The blueprints and weapon designs for the guns have already been leaked through the data miners.  The rumors have also suggested that all three weapons will be available to unlock with the battle pass in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. However, gamers must wait for official information regarding the weapons and the rest of the update patch.
