Microsoft is ready to stream an Xbox Partner Preview event soon this week, showcasing a brand-new format that will focus on third-party titles and upcoming games coming to the Xbox Game Pass. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. According to Microsoft, the new format will offer 30 minutes of trailers and gameplay footage from their third-party partners. These titles will come to the Xbox and Windows and also include upcoming Game Pass titles. 

 

In Xbox Wire's official blog post, Microsoft mentioned that the Xbox Partner OReview event will not feature any additional news, game reveals, or Game Pass information related to the Activision Blizzard King acquisition that happened recently. However, gamers can expect a lot more from the event ahead of the official broadcast as Xbox proceeds to showcase a unique roadmap for their other titles involving their close third parties.

What to Expect From the Xbox Partner Preview Event This Week?

The event will also share information regarding updates and new looks at games coming to Xbox and Windows. The blog post also stated that gamers can expect to see the latest information on 'in-game' activities for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, a launch trailer for Alan Wake 2, the first gameplay for Ark: Survival Ascended, insight into the social world of Dungeons of Hunterberg, and much more. 

 

Xbox has promised a lot that one can expect from the third-party publishing partners ahead of the preview event. The new format will deliver a new mix of indie titles and familiar favourites from Xbox's third-party partners. Gamers can expect studios like Ryu Ga Gotoku, Remedy Entertainment, Studio Wildcard, and various other houses they showcase more than 20 minutes of trailers and brand-new gameplay footage from their titles, according to Xbox's official blog post. 

 

Recently, Microsoft kicked off the holiday season by marketing its Wake Up and Dream commercial. The live-action trailer captivates gamers as it delivers a top-tier cinematic exploring the various titles one can experience in the Xbox Series X|S. Following the campaign, Microsoft also ran an Xbox advertisement on the new Sphere venue in Las Vegas. While Xbox's efforts have largely been concentrated towards making the Game Pass the most valuable subscription service in gaming, fans have consistently had criticisms about the publisher's lacklustre output when it comes to first-party titles. 2023 has been relatively better in that respect, thanks to a massive Bethesda release in the form of Starfield.
