Larian Studios Announces Physical Deluxe Edition for Baldur's Gate 3

Larian Studios has officially announced a physical Deluxe Edition for Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox Series X, PS5, and PC. The set will include a wide range of items for collectors, including an official soundtrack, map, and other goodies. The Deluxe Edition will be available for $79.99 for the platforms and will only come for the current-gen hardware.

Larian Studios' Baldur's Gate 3 has been a beloved title in the gaming community, with the game making it into multiple Game Awards categories. According to the developers, the physical Deluxe Edition for Baldur's Gate 3 will launch in Q1 2024, which is just around the corner.

What Will Baldur's Gate 3's Physical Deluxe Edition Include?

Physical copies, especially Deluxe or Collector's Editions are released on rare occasions by the developers. Baldur's Gate 3 has crossed the mark with the title garnering a lot of positive attention since its release in August 2023. 

The physical Deluxe Edition for Baldur's Gate 3 will include multiple items one can keep. They are as follows:

• Physical copy of Baldur's Gate 3. (Three discs for Xbox Series X, two discs for PlayStation 5, one disc with CD key and installer for PC).
• A world map
• Original soundtrack for the game with three discs
• Mind Flayer poster
• Deluxe Edition box designed to match with previous games' big box PC editions 
• Sticker pack of 32
• 2 patches

Gamers who are expecting more digital content are also in luck as the Deluxe Edition box set includes the following:

• Divinity Item Pack (Equip party with items inspired by the world and characters of Divinity)
• Bard Song Pack (One can perform a special set of new songs)
• Exclusive Dice Skin (New skin to offer more style in rolling)
• Paintings from Rivellon (One can discover a new collection of paintings across Forgotten Realms)
• Adventurer’s Pouch (One can collect new camp supplies and potions to help in the journey)
• Digital OST (Baldur's Gate 3 composer Borislav Slavov's official music)
• Digital Artbook (Art and design of Baldur's Gate 3 in a comprehensive digital artbook written by Larian)
• Digital Character Sheets (A set of four-page D&D character sheets for each Baldur's Gate 3 Origin character)

Currently, gamers can only pre-order the Baldur's Gate 3 Deluxe Edition from the official Larian website. The title is yet to launch for Xbox Series X and S, as developers mentioned a release date for the consoles by the end of 2023. However, Larian has also mentioned that they will disclose the release date for the Xbox consoles during the The Game Awards on December 7, 2023.
