Grand Theft Auto VI Release Date Confirmed for Fall of 2025

Rockstar Games' parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has officially confirmed Grand Theft Auto VI's release date in a recent earnings report. Last year, Rockstar stated that the upcoming GTA game will launch in 2025, with the recent report, however, fans now have a more specific release window. GTA 6 is easily one of the most anticipated games for next year. While many reports also claimed that the title may get delayed, it seems the developers already have a launch date in mind.

Grand Theft Auto VI is a stunning comeback for the franchise. As claimed in the recent reports from Take-Two, the title is scheduled to be released in 'the fall of 2025.'

Grand Theft Auto VI Release Date Confirmed by Rockstar's Parent Company

The Grand Theft Auto VI release date has been a hot topic for discussion within the gaming community ever since Rockstar launched the first trailer last year. In December 2023, gamers saw a whole new take on Vice City, as fans of the franchise are excited to return to the city with current-gen visuals. Aside from that, Rockstar introduced fans to two new protagonists, and the first-ever female lead in a Grand Theft Auto game.

Gamers will assume the roles of Lucia and Jason in Grand Theft Auto VI, which will follow a similar character-swapping concept to the previous GTA game. Rockstar has yet to reveal any gameplay footage for the title; however, fans are pretty excited to see how the game turns out. 

After months of speculation from the community, fans can finally rest on a date when they can expect the anticipated GTA title to arrive next year. The Grand Theft Auto VI release date is confirmed for 'fall 2025', as Rockstar, and many known sources, including The Game Awards have announced it. 

In Take-Two's Q4 earnings report, the company has specifically stated the following:

"As we enter Fiscal 2025 with positive momentum, we expect to deliver Net Bookings of $5.55 to $5.65 billion. Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games' previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI."

Aside from confirming the release date for Grand Theft Auto VI, the company also stated that they are highly confident in delivering an 'unparalleled entertainment experience' to the fans. Grand Theft Auto VI will be available on Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 upon launch.
