Santa Monica Studios has worked wonders with the last God of War title, that said, an upcoming DLC can easily improve the experience with a roguelite mode. A challenging mode is something that often hardcore fans long for, especially for a game with strong combat such as Ragnarok. Santa Monica has officially confirmed that God of War Ragnarok Valhalla will arrive on December 12, 2023, for PlayStation 4 and 5. Valhalla will also be a free DLC for gamers who own the game. The DLC will not be available to play separately and will require gamers to own Ragnarok.

While the trailer did not feature any in-depth gameplay for the DLC, fans still suspect a pretty basic roguelite game mode and some more story content for them to munch on. The DLC is only a few days away from launch and will be available starting at 9 AM Pacific Standard Time on launch. Once out, the DLC will be available immediately on the PlayStation Store,
