HoYoverse will be coming up with its first-ever Genius Invokation TCG Asia Invitational, which holds a prize pool of 69,900 USD. This event will begin on January 11 and will end on January 21, 24. The event has an interesting format and will see 16 players from the Dynamic Cup in the People's Republic of China along with three different ones from The Prince Cup Asian regional tournaments come together and compete in Shanghai.

Genshin Impact's Genius Invokation TCG Asia Invitational Format

The format of the Invitational is pretty engaging and is divided into two different stages that the players will have to cross to reach the finals, which will take place on January 21, 2024. 16 qualified players from different regions and tournaments across Asia will be competing in the Genius Invokation TCG Asia Invitational.

The first stage is the Group Stage, which will follow a best-of-three-round format. These matches will take place from January 11 to 14. The next will be the knockout stage, which will follow a best-of-five format. This second stage will take place from January 19 to January 21. Both of the stages will have a double-elimination and the winner will be crowned on January 21 after a best-of-seven match and will walk away with the winning amount of 34,900 USD.

The audience can watch the matches on multiple streaming platforms including @AstraCarnival on X, YouTube, and Twitch. The knockout stages and the group stages will be streamed from January 11 to January 21 and the last two days will also be streamed on @GenshinImpactOfficial on Twitch. Genius Invokation TCG is Genshin Impact's element-based strategic card game, which allows the players to compete against NPCs or other players using their card collection strategically. The players have been selected with the help of multiple official international tournaments Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup and the community tournament Cat's Tail Gathering.
