YouTuber Makes Photorealistic GTA San Andreas Remaster Using Unreal Engine 5

GTA San Andreas received its own official remastered version from Rockstar back in 2021. However, the Definitive Trilogy including Vice City and GTA III, received extreme backlash from fans as the studio Groove Street Games failed to meet the expectations. The Definitive Trilogy was full of bugs and broken mechanics which made the experience more sour than one would expect. However, the Unreal Engine 5 unofficial remaster from Flames per Second YouTube can give one a completely different outlook on how a working definitive version would look.

Upon hopping on their channel, one would find various clips of GTA San Andreas remastered version made with UE5. The channel also includes modded clips of more games like Grand Theft Auto 5, Cyberpunk 2077 with photorealistic graphics, The Witcher 3: Next-Gen Update, GTA IV Definitive Edition (UE5), and much more.

There is no doubt that UE5 has been a massive upgrade over its predecessor and is also one of the most successful game engines in the current gaming industry. Many studios have slowly started to use the full potential of the engine, including CD Projekt Red, as they stated that the next Witcher game will utilize Unreal Engine 5 instead of their old Red Engine.

Many indie game developers have also started seeing the success UE5 has brought to the industry, including more Nanites, better polygon divisions, and an overall better workspace. Naturally, Flames per Second YouTube did not hold back when it came to making a massive improvement to the beloved GTA game from the past.
