Epic Games is giving away its final holiday season free game with Guardians of the Galaxy. Gamers with an Epic Store ID can claim the title for free and keep it in their library forever. Moreover, gamers can enjoy extra perks, like the Holiday Sale, Epic Coupon, and Epic Rewards. The Epic Games Store has been famous for giving away free games to players since its inception.

Every year, the platform returns with a list of titles to give away every day during the holiday season. This time, the platform gave away plenty of popular titles beloved by the gaming community.

Guardians of the Galaxy is Free on the Epic Games Store

Epic Games Store has given away 16 games throughout the holiday season this year, including Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. The latest title on Epic's free game list allows gamers to assume the character of Star-Lord, a popular Marvel superhero known for his quick wits and funny nature.

​Gamers get to team up with the rest of the Guardians, who are Groot, Gamora, Drax, and Rocket Racoon as they take on numerous adventures across the galaxy and meet many popular faces from the Marvel universe.

​Released in 2021, Eidos-Montréal's Guardians of the Galaxy was launched to a pretty positive reception after Marvel's Avengers and was liked by many. The Marvel title encompasses a pretty engaging combat and offers a decent story to enjoy according to fans.

Till When Gamers Can Claim Guardians of the Galaxy on Epic?

​Guardians of the Galaxy is the final free game on Epic's holiday season list. The title is up for claiming until January 11, 2024. After that, Sail Forth will replace the title on the Free Games list, which will be up to claim until January 18, 2024. Once Guardians of the Galaxy leaves the Free Games slot, gamers will be able to claim the game for free and will have to purchase it from the store to add to their library.
