The Indian PC game, Detective Doston, developed by Ahmedabad-based Masala Games will be the only game to feature at the Future Games Show- Summer. Taking place on June 9, 2024 IST, the Future Games Show Summer will host an array of games that are yet to be released. Some might also reveal their first look at the Show.
Getting featured at the Future Games Show- Summer is an incredible achievement for Masala Games since it opens a lot more opportunities for other developers to aim this high.

Future Games Show- Summer To Feature Detective Dotson
Masala Games will release a trailer of the game at the Games Show, which will walk the audience through the game and its various elements. A trailer for the game has already been released, but this trailer, according to Shalin Shodhan, the Director of Masala Games will include a lot of new elements:
- Bollywood dancing
- Cute doggo
- Mysterious cases
- Indian street food
The game is set in India. The story revolves around a detective as he tries to solve the mysterious death of his father. In the trailer of the game, the audience can see his chase, his struggle, and his encounter with villains. What makes the game more interesting is that they will be able to play the game chapter wise, which means they can revisit the game any time after they have completed it or are not satisfied with their progress. Talking about the game, Shalin Shodhan said:
Detective Dotson is our love letter to modern day India. It’s inspired by Bollywood and Indian TV shows like CID complete with its own unique narrative. We hope you enjoy playing it as much as we did making it.
