As Valve continues with the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test, the developers are swapping out two maps for one. Previously, Valve had added Anubis and Ancient to the map pool to test them in Competitive, Casual, and Deathmatch game modes. After two weeks, the developers are replacing them with Italy. They also have disabled competitive matchmaking for now and fixed some gameplay and economy-related bugs.

Latest Counter-Strike 2 Patch Removes Anubis and Ancient From The Map Pool, Disables Competitive Matchmaking
In the recent patch for the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test, several changes have been introduced to improve gameplay, maps, economy, and workshop tools. Concerning gameplay, Valve has turned off Competitive and Private Matchmaking for CS2 Limited Test. The map pool has also received several updates. Italy will be added to Deathmatch and Casual Game Modes while Anubis and Ancient have been retired.
The Counter-Strike 2 developers have updated StatTrak positions on both M4 models to prevent them from obscuring stickers, enhancing the visibility of the cosmetic item. Additionally, they have adjusted the sticker sizes on the M4A4 to avoid overlapping.
