The action RPG is based on Chinese mythology and dives into fast-paced combat that will pit the protagonist against an array of foes. Game Science, the developers of the game have tried their best to show what the game is going to offer the players in the new trailer. Black Myth Wukong Release Date And Platforms
The latest trailer showed gameplay that can be described as fluid and punchy. Combat approaches are extensive with a wide variety of enemies and abilities that come in all shapes and sizes. The trailer also sheds light on the kind of boss fights the players can expect when they are playing the game. The narrative of the game is also hinted at with Journey to the West listed as a source of inspiration.
One of the most interesting aspects of the trailer was witnessing the protagonist riding a mythical beast, which is a first. As the protagonist, the players will be using a lot of spells against the enemies along with transformations and magic vessels. Players will also get an opportunity to combine multiple abilities to craft and hone their own playstyle in Black Myth Wukong.
The developers also confirmed the release date of the game, which was earlier just a 2024 release window. In addition to the August 20, 2024 release date, the platforms on which the game will be available have also been revealed by Game Science. At launch, the game will be available for download on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. More details are expected to surface in the coming months.
