Highlights

  • In his recent stream, Xccurate announced his desire to return to pro play in Valorant.

  • Paper Rex might sign Xccurate owning to Jinggg's departure from the team.

  • Xccurate has requested his fans not to keep much expectations as he will start from zero, in the game.

Paper Rex, the Grand Finalists of VCT Champions 2023 will be parting ways with Jinggg, owing to the latter's military service. Now that the OFF//Season is here, many rumors are floating around about the new potential replacement of Jinggg, one of which includes signing f0rsaken's brother, Xccurate.

Just like his younger brother, Xccurate holds immense potential in the game. His strong suite of skills includes the massive agent pool that he has. After stepping down from professional CS: GO, Xccurate primarily stuck to streaming Valorant. However, he has expressed his desire to go pro again and play VCT in the upcoming season.

A recent update from the Valorant SEA Twitter account showed Xccurate stating his opinion about going pro in the Riot Games title. He also mentioned how he wanted to start from zero in the game and requested his fans not to keep many expectations.
Xccurate said:

“Don’t expect anything much, if I move to Valorant I’ll start from 0. They have started early, I’ve only played in rank, it’s much different from scrim. But I’m still optimistic, I’m sure of it."

During his time in CS: GO, he represented the Asian region in two Majors, which is laudable for an under-represented region. However, after quitting CS he did not compete much so his transition as a pro player to Valorant from Counter-Strike will be an interesting thing for the fans to watch out for. The latest rumors have also claimed that FNS is leaving NRG and professional play as a whole.

During their Champions run this year, NRG Esports got grouped with BiliBili Gaming and lost to them twice. The poor results have raised questions about the longevity of the squad. If the rumor of FNS leaving pro play turns out to be true, it will create a huge impact on the state of professional Valorant.
