WSB Gaming Wins Skyesports Champions Series 2024 BGMI Tournament

The Skyesports Champions Series 2024 BGMI tournament ended with WSB Gaming winning the championship title. WSB Gaming, iQOO Soul, Blind Esports and Team Tamilas dominated the 36-match finals. WSB Gaming won the title and a prize of Rs 5 lakh and iQOO Soul, who was second won Rs 2.5 lakh. Blind Esports, who is placed third on the points table won Rs 1 lakh. The action-packed matches saw some other great performances by Revenant Esports and Orangutan.

Skyesports Champions Series 2024 Prize Pool Distribution

A Prize pool of Rs 10 lakh was distributed between the teams and the winning team took the lion's share of the prize pool, and the teams who were placed after them also won some prizes. The MVP of the event along with the team who got the most number of chicken dinners was also rewarded. Here is the prize pool distribution of the event:

• 5th Place (Revenant Esports) - Rs 30,000
• 6th Place (Orangutan) - Rs 20,000
• 7th Place (Hydra Esports) - Rs 15,000
• 8th Place (Medal Esports) - Rs 10,000
• MVP (Shubham "Drigger" Quiriyal) - Rs 10,000
• Most WWCD (WSB Gaming and Team Tamilas) - Rs 7,500 each

The finals week of the Skyesports Champions Series 2024 was nothing short of a nail-biter. While WSB Gaming was the champion of the BGMI tournament, Team iQOO Soul dominated the event in the first three days. Manya's IGL-ing was unmatched and the team survived even the toughest of situations. In the last match of the last day, the zone didn't favour the team even for a single second, but they managed to finish the match in the top 5 and finished their final run with 252 points. 

The teams placed fifth, sixth and seventh: Revenant, Orangutan and Hydra Esports also displayed a lot of consistency throughout the event and showed that they're coming out of their struggling phase and are getting ready for the 2024 competitive year.
