SKRossi Makes His Comeback In Challengers League As Revenant Esports Win Against Reckoning Esports

Day three of Valorant Challengers South Asia 2024 started with the best-of-three series between Revenant Esports and Reckoning Esports. The series kicked off on Revenant's pick of Icebox. The game looked one-sided from the start as Revenant struggled against Reckoning, with the scoreline reading 10-2 in the first half. When Revenant Esports got into their grove in the second half, it was too late for them to make a comeback, and Reckoning Esports consolidated their lead to win the first map with a 13-6 scoreline.

Revenant Esports woke up to the reality in the second game as they gave a tough fight to Reckoning Esports on their map pick of Lotus. The match looked balanced with the 6-6 scoreline in the first half, followed by multiple overtimes to decide the winner. After stretching the game to the fourth overtime, Revenant Esports gave their all to win the final two rounds and claim the 17-15 victory.

After tasting their first map win as a team, Revenant decided to replicate the first match on the decider map Breeze, but this time in their favour. While Reckoning won the starting rounds, Revenant won eight back-to-back rounds to secure an 8-4 lead in the first half. Without wasting any time, Revenant won the next five rounds in a sniff to claim the 13-4 victory with a series win over Reckoning Esports.

For the second match of the day, it was the wounded True Rippers against Carnival Gaming. True Rippers entered the game with two defeats beside their name and were looking forward to decimating Carnival Gaming to clench their first victory. True Rippers started slow on Sunset as Carnival took an early lead, but True Rippers flipped the scoreline with their eight-round winning spree. Carnival tried their best to stop True Rippers, but the latter ended up winning Sunset with a 13-10 scoreline.

The second map of Split was the same as Carnival Gaming started strong by pushing the scoreline in their favour with a 7-2 lead. True Rippers activated themselves to win the next ten rounds in a row and just a round away from the series point. When Carnival figured out a way to win rounds, it was too late for them. True Rippers won the map with a 13-10 scoreline, helping them secure their first victory of the season.
