Upthurst Esports Diwali Battle Season 2 will bring BGMI action to fans on October 17.
A total of 24 teams will be taking part in the semi-finals that will begin on October 17 and only eight teams will qualify for the LAN finals.
The prize pool of the is event into two parts: Rs 5 lakh will be for the semi-finals and Rs 30 lakh will be for the finals.
Upthrust Esports is back with another BGMI Diwali battle, this time with a massive prize pool worth Rs. 35 lakh. The event will be divided into two parts: the semi-finals and the finals. The latter is going to be a LAN event held in Bengaluru. The semi-finals will take place on October 17 and the finals will begin on November 7, 2023. A total of 24 teams will take part in the semi-finals and only eight teams will move to the finals. Here are all the details known so far.

A total of 24 teams will be taking part in the semi-finals that begin today, October 17. Out of these, only eight teams will qualify for the LAN finals that will take place in Bengaluru. Here are all the teams taking part in the semi-finals:
Six matches will be played today and each team will be playing in a round-robin format. Today, the matches will be played on Erangel and Miramar. Here is the schedule for the day:
The prize pool for this event is split into two parts: Rs. 5 lakh will be set aside for the semi-finals while Rs 30 lakh will be up for grabs at the LAN finals. The winner of the semi-finals will earn Rs. 2 lakh while the second and third-placed teams will get Rs. 1.5 lakh and Rs. 1 lakh cash prize, respectively. The MVP of the event will also be given a prize of Rs. 50,000.
In the previous installment of the Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle, Team XO lifted the trophy and won a prize of Rs 5.35 lakhs. 8Bit Esports was the runner-up of the tournament.
The matches will be broadcast live on Rooter.gg from 6 PM onwards. Fans can tune into the platform and cheer for their favorite teams. Teams like Soul and 8bit will be looking to showcase a splendid performance for their fans after middling results in recent events. Gladiators Esports, who recently won BGIS 2023 will be looking to replicate their performance and consolidate their spot as the best team in the game right now.
