After two days of intense battle between the top sixteen BGMI teams, Entity Gaming is crowned the Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023 champions. While Blind Esports continued to carry their momentum from Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI LAN, Entity Gaming rectified their mistakes from the previous events to dethrone Blind from the top spot. Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023 took place at Koramangala Indoor Stadium, Bangalore, with a live audience and a prize pool of Rs. 35,00,000. 

 

At the end of 14 matches, Blind Esports and Entity Gaming tied up with 149 points for the top spot, but thanks to Entity's higher placement points, Entity Gaming won the tournament, while Blind Esports came second. Following them, the newly formed Global Esports came third with 135 points.

Everything That Went Down At Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023

 

 

Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023 kicked off on 07 November 2023 with an Indian-style walk-in and opening ceremony, followed by the reveal of the beautiful trophy. On the first day, teams were set to play seven matches, including four maps of Erangel, two of Miramar, and one game of Sanhok. Unlike Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI LAN, no one team was dominating the server, and on the first day, all matches saw seven different winners. After winning the final game of Day One, Entity Gaming secured the top spot on the leaderboard with 81 points.

 

On day two, Blind Esports was back on top after their second Chicken Dinner in the eighth match. Blind Esports and Entity Gaming won three Chicken Dinners before entering the final map, making them contenders for winning the Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023. Before the last game, Entity Gaming led the charts with 146 points, while Blind Esports was second with 141 points. Both teams showed passive gameplay at the start of the fourteenth match and avoided any mistake that could cost them the title. While Entity Gaming was eliminated before Blind, thanks to their five-point lead, Entity Gaming was able to tie their score with Blind Esports.

 

With 149 total points and 98 placement points, Entity Gaming emerged victorious at Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023, winning the lion's share of the Rs. 35,00,000 prize pool. Blind Esports came second with 149 total points and 67 placement points, and Global Esports secured the third spot with 135 total points. Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023 featured a series of individual and team awards, where Team Soul won the 'Fan Favorite Team' Award, while Gods Reign's Blaze was the top fragger of the tournament. In partnership with Kreo, the peripheral partners at Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023, the winners of the following categories won Kreo gift hampers.
