Entity Gaming Wins Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle Season 2

The Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle Season 2 has come to an end and Entity Gaming has been crowned the champions of the tournament. The team accumulated a total of 149 points and tied with Blind Esports at the top of the table. However, due to higher placement points, Entity was crowned the victor of UE Diwali Battle Season 2. Here is how the final day of the Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle Season 2 unfolded.

Entity Gaming Tops Points Table, Wins Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle Season 2

Day 2 began with Entity Gaming getting knocked off from the top of the points table by Blind Esports. The latter was hot off a victory from Skyesports Championship 5.0 and looked ready to steal the win. Blind dominated the first match of the day, claiming the first Chicken Dinner in the final fight against Midwave Esports. 

In terms of kills, match two was dominated by GodLike Esports who got 14 finishes in the game. However, the Chicken Dinner went to Midwave Esports by the end zone. The final zone fight was intense and Gladiators Esports was eliminated by the hands of GodLike. SouL proved to be enough of a thorn in GodLike's side to the point that Midwave Esports capitalised on the opportunity to get the Chicken Dinner. 

Match 3 was played On Erangel again and Entity Gaming claimed another Chicken Dinner again with eight finishes. In the same match, 8bit Esports placed second and Team Tamilas, who was seen struggling on both days, found some form and placed third with much-needed placement points. 

Match 4 was a typical Sanhok affair but the only difference was that Blind took the match home and Entity Gaming came in second. In this match, the teams struggled quite a bit to get in the zone and Blind Esports maintained their composure to get the chicken dinner to remain at the top of the points table. 

Match 5 was the comeback of Gods Reign where they got a huge 24-point chicken dinner with Blaze as the MVP of the match. Team Psyche, who was seen playing slow matches throughout the day, came in second and got extremely important placement points. 

Match 6 saw Team Soul get early elimination points in the face of a resurgent Team XSpark and a Gods Reign that was looking strong. However, it was Entity Gaming that got the chicken while 8bit Esports came in second. GodLike Esports, who looked very strong initially, toppled like a house of cards in the late game and came in third. 

The last and final match of the Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle Season 2 was played in Erangel with a lot of teams trying to get to the top of the points table. GodLike, who got hill control early on in the match, were able to capitalize on their position for a while before they were forced to enter the zone. Top contenders for the trophy, Entity Gaming and Blind were eliminated early in this game and ended their run with low finish points. It was finally Midwave Esports that got the chicken dinner. 

Despite a few strong performances by others, Entity Gaming solidified their early lead from day one, eventually securing the win and the lion's share of the Rs. 35 Lakh prize pool.
