CEO Rushindra Sinha and Mayavi Talk About The Departure Of BGMI Lineups from Global Esports
On 16 September 2023, the founder of Global Esports, Dr Rushindra Sinha, came live on his YouTube Channel with the title "We NEED to Talk about GE." During his live stream, he answered queries regarding the BGMI rosters, where he said they are no longer continuing with their current BGMI lineups.
Team Mayavi and GE Pheonix are no longer part of Global Esports. We are no longer continuing with the current lineup.
Addressing the farewell, Global Esports coach Mayavi shared more information about the decisions and allegations against them. Here is what his story said:
It's impossible to defend being a part of Global Esports. GE don't want to continue, which does not mean they are hackers or scammers. The narrative set will be answered, but having a brand tag its not doable. The reason GE don't wanna continue is simple - brand is getting negative PR.
On his live stream, Rushindra said that they are looking forward to building a lineup from scratch, and the Global Esports BGMI division will be resetting on 01 October 2023. Based on what Rushindra said on his live stream, Global Esports will be trying to focus on a single lineup and consolidate their BGMI journey with them.
