TEC Challenger Series 2023- VCT Off-Season: Teams And Schedule

  • The Esports Club has announced their official Off-Season Valorant event in partnership with Riot Games.

The TEC Challenger Series 2023 has been announced by The Esports Club as their newest tournament for the VCT Off-Season. Covering the entire South Asian region, the event began on September 28, 2023, and will run through October 12, 2023. Aside from India, players from all over South Asia like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and more, were able to participate in the qualifiers. 

 

The total prize pool for the competition is 15 lakh INR. The top four teams from the qualifiers have been announced alongside the eight invited teams for the group stages.

TEC Challenger Series: Teams and Schedule

 

 

The group stages will begin on 4 October, 2023, with teams playing best-of-one matches to determine the top two teams from each group that will move ahead for playoffs. These top four teams will then fight each other in a double elimination format to determine the winner. The matches will be best-of-three status except for the decider finals and grand finals which will be best of fives. 

 

The top 12 teams that will be playing in the group stages are as follows:

  • Made In Bharat (MIBH)
  • True Rippers
  • Medal Esports
  • Grayfox Esports

  • Hyderabad Hydras

  • GGEZ
  • Mystic Esports

 

These twelve teams will be competing with each other in two groups with six teams in each group. The groups are divided into Group A and Group B:

  • GGEZ

 

Group B Teams

  • MIBH
  • True Rippers
  • Medal Esports
  • Grayfox Esports

The matches will be streamed live on the official YouTube channel of The Esports Club from 4 October 2023 to 12 October 2023.
