Team Vitality has announced that their legendary Counter-Strike player, Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen will not be on the active roster anymore. With the help of the Danish legend, Vitality won the last Major in the team's hometown, Paris.
While dupreeh did move on from Vitality, it seems like he is yet hungry for his 6th Major title. Through his recent Twitter thread, he has spoken about his future and how he’s not looking to take a break from the game any time soon.

Vitality Parts Ways With dupreeh, Recruits flameZ
Vitality’s coach, Zonic, claimed that benching dupreeh has been one of the most toughest decisions in his competitive Counter-Strike career. Vitality has expressed that they want to nourish and develop young talents so that in the future, they can bloom and shine while carrying the legacies of the legends who paved the way. With this, they have announced the addition of former OG entry fragger, Shahar “flameZ” Shushan, one of the fastest-growing names in the current era of Counter-Strike.
When it comes to achievements, dupreeh has secured five Majors: ELEAGUE Atlanta, FACEIT London Major, IEM Katowice 2019, StarLadder Berlin, and recently his 5th Major, the BLAST Paris Major. Through his recent Twitter post, he has conveyed the fact that he’s not retiring:
"Would love to win my 6th Major in my hometown next year, but winning a Major is not easy. I would need to find a team and an organisation, who share my ambition, professionalism and willingness to sacrifice to achieve a common goal"
flameZ also put out a statement regarding his signing:
"Super excited and proud to join the hive today! I'm ready to put in the work for this new step in my career. I truly believe we can achieve great things together, let's get started!"
For the time being, dupreeh is a free agent looking for a team.
