IHC Esports win PMGC 2023 Grand Finals

Mongolia’s IHC Esports has finally been crowned as the PMGC 2023 winner after topping the leaderboard with 142 points. The team will take home a prize of $400K and the MVP from their side, Zyol took a prize for his contribution in the matches. Here are the details from the last match and all the prizes that were distributed on the final day.

IHC Esports Crowned As PMGC 2023 Grand Finals Winner

 

 

 

 

After playing 18 matches in three days in a points system that is kill-oriented, IHC Esports scored a whopping 142 points and the team right below them, Stalwart Esports scored 138 points. In the third place, Brazilian powerhouse, Alpha7 Esports stood strong with 131 points. The last day wasn't in favour of Alpha7 Esports as they could get only 16 points from the six matches they played. Here is the points table after the final day:

The prize pool of the event was set at $ 3,000,000. Each participating team was awarded a certain portion of the prize pool and the lion's share of the prize pool was awarded to IHC Esports. Here is the prize pool distribution:

  • 2nd place: $200,000 - Stalwart Esports
  • 3rd place: $120,000 - Alpha7 Esports
  • 4th place: $80,000 - 4Merical Vibes

  • 7th place: $42,000 - NS RedForce

To award the impeccable performance by individual players, Tencent kept individual awards for players. Here is the list for various titles that players got during the award ceremony:

With this, the 2023 competitive season has come to an end and a brief roadmap of 2024 has also been introduced by Tencent to ensure a smooth 2024 season.
