iQOO India League Cancelled After Tech Issues Continue on Day 2

After day 1 of the iQOO India League was cancelled due to technical issues, XO Esports and iQOO have now cancelled the whole event after they failed to fix the issues on the second day. The teams had geared up for the second day but faced extensive delays before getting to play one game. After this, the entire event was cancelled by the organisers.

iQOO LAN Cancelled Due To Unsolvable Tech Issues

 

 

After a disappointing day one with no matches played, the issues continued for more than half day 2. iQOO Esports uploaded a post to Instagram requesting the audience not to come to the event. After this, sources close to gossip.gg informed us that the players and teams were asked to wait for two hours to see if the issues could be fixed. Eventually, around the midway mark of the day, dry runs before the matches took place. 

 

One match was also played on the live stream where GodLike Esports took the Chicken Dinner and viewrship peaked at over 100k concurrent viewers. Despite waiting for the event to take place for two days and just one match being played, audiences were enthusiastic to see the rest of the event. However, after that, the stream, went dark and didn't show any more matches. Gossip.gg's sources informed us that the whole event was cancelled. 

 

Multiple players also went live on Instagram from the event and informed their audience about the issues they faced at the LAN. Even the content creators who were present at the venue informed the audience about the multiple issues that were taking place at the venue. iQOO Esports and XO Esports have yet to issue a statement about the event's cancellation.
