Ex-Gods Reign Player, Autumn, Signs With FunPlus Phoenix For VCT 2024

After consistently performing as one of the top players in the South Asian circuit in Valorant Champions League South Asia under the banner of Gods Reign, Kale 'Autumn' Dunne, has been picked by the prestigious Chinese organization, FunPlus Phoenix. This news comes after Autumn was announced as an unrestricted free agent by Gods Reign a few months ago when the qualifiers of South Asia had ended.

Autumn To Play For FunPlus Phoenix in VCT 2024

Autumn was a part of one of the longest periods of regional domination in 2021. He gained popularity while playing for the Australian team ORDER and dominating every opponent in the Oceania circuit. Autumn's contributions as a Jett main helped the team stay on top, but after their 2022 victories, the group disbanded. Autumn spent the last two months looking for new opportunities before Gods Reign gave him the freedom to consider his options as an unrestricted free agent. Autumn was one of the best players in the South Asian circuit during the 2023 season with Gods Reign, consistently ranking among the top performers. 

FunPlus Phoenix is making a move as they approach a critical stage in their season because they will be competing for circuit points in the next three China Evolution tournaments to qualify for Ascension China. FunPlus Phoenix hopes to emerge from the shadow of the two current Chinese Valorant powerhouses, EDward Gaming and Bilibili Gaming, with the help of their most recent addition. This season, FPX has taken part in tournaments like VCT LOCK//IN and VALORANT Champions LA, although they have yet to win in a series against opponents from overseas.
