Enigma Gaming Won Esportz Premier Series 2023 CS2

Counter-Strike fans in Mumbai witnessed an intense CS2 action between Enigma Gaming and Marcos Gaming at the Esportz Premier Series 2023 grand finale. The grand finale was a close best-of-three matchup. The first map of Mirage ended with overtime, followed by Enigma winning the second map of Ancient to defeat Enigma and crown themselves as the champions of Esportz Premier Series 2023 CS2. 

Esportz Premier Series 2023 featured two open qualifiers, with multiple teams competing to make their way into the grand finale at NESCO Center, Mumbai. Ultimately, Marcos Gaming (from Open Qualifiers 1) and Enigma Gaming (from Open Qualifiers 2) qualified for the finale and fought for the lion's share of the Rs. 4,00,000 prize pool. Enigma Gaming's victory over Marcos Gaming helped them clench the glorious Esportz Premier Series trophy alongside the cheque of Rs. 2,50,000.

The best-of-three grand finale game began on the map of Mirage. Enigma Gaming took the lead in the first half, dominating Marcos Gaming with an 8-4 scoreline and Hatty and Cata were leading the Enigma's charge. When it seemed that Enigma would quickly secure the first map, Marcos Gaming decimated Enigma by replicating what Enigma did to them in the second half and pushing the game to overtime. Despite losing the significant lead, Enigma kept their composure, helping them defeat Marcos on Mirage with a 16-14 scoreline. 

On the second map of Ancient, Marcos Gaming started strong by winning the five back-to-back rounds, pushing Enigma on a back foot. Enigma bounced back with twice the force and won seven back-to-back rounds, helping them secure the 7-5 scoreline in the first half. While Marcos Gaming took a couple of rounds from Enigma's hand, Enigma looked in control and defeated Marcos Gaming with a 13-10 scoreline. 

Enigma Gaming became the Esportz Premier Series 2023 CS2 champions and won the Rs. 2,50,000 cash prize with that victory. Marcos Gaming received Rs. 1,25,000 for coming second in the tournament.
