Former Team Liquid Counter-Strike player, Jonathan “EliGE” Jablownowski has joined Complexity Gaming to replace Justin “FaNg” Coakley. Team Liquid has decided to shift to a European core for their reimagined Counter-Strike roster. After 8 long years with Liquid, the 25-year-old American pro has finally made a move to another organization.
Earlier reports suggested that joining Complexity was not EliGE's first choice. Evil Geniuses almost confirmed his signing until they pulled the deal at the last moment to consider a European roster instead.

EliGE Reunites With Former Teammate 'Grim' At Complexity
EliGE is one of the biggest name in North American CS. He has won multiple trophies throughout his professional Counter-Strike career, including the coveted Intel Grand Slam. Some of his biggest achievements are ESL One Cologne 2019, IEM Sydney 2019, DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019, and more.
Over the years, EliGE has proved invaluable to Liquid while progressing through tournaments. However, recently, the rifler has been under fire for underperforming in playoff matches. With nitr0 stepping away and Team Liquid looking to rebuild from scratch, it seems that EliGE's tenure is over. NAF and oSee remain the only North Americans on the Team Liquid roster.
The complete Team Liquid roster is:
- Keith "NAF" Markovic
- Josh "oSee" Ohm
- Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis
- Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov
- Robert "Patsi" Isyanov
On the other hand, Complexity has been struggling for a while. Since BlameF's departure, the team has fielded poor results despite multiple roster changes. Even after signing ex-Team Liquid rifler, Grim, Complexity always fell short of the mark. With former teammates, Grim and EliGE reuniting, they're hoping to bring some synergy to the squad as they look to rebuild. Complexity and Team Liquid will both be seen with their new rosters at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups in July.
