Bleed Esports Wins VCT Ascension Pacific 2023: Grand Final Recap

Unlike other regions, VCT Ascension Pacific had a single-elimination bracket for their playoffs. Bleed Esports entered the playoffs with a higher seeding while SCARZ started their playoffs with a lower seeding. Both teams entered the Grand Finals with solid momentum as they had a 3-1 record in the group stage. It was an opportunity for SCARZ to take their revenge after the loss against Bleed Esports in the group stages

The Grand Finals was a best-of-five matchup, and the game started with the Bleed's pick of Haven. Bleed Esports came out the gate swinging and went into the second half with a 9-3 scoreline. Even though SCARZ got six more rounds, the map went in Bleed's favor. The second map was SCARZ's pick of Bind. However, Bleed Esports was prepared and won the map with a dominant 13-2 scoreline.

The third map of Fracture was the only opportunity SCARZ had to make a comeback, but Bleed Esports showed no mercy and went on to win the map with a 13-8 scoreline. With utter dominance, Bleed Esports defeated SCARZ to crown themselves as the VCT Ascension Pacific champions.

Bleed Esports Advances To The VCT Pacific League

By winning the Grand Finals with a 3-0 scoreline, Bleed Esports have made themselves a part of the VCT Pacific League for the coming two years. They will compete against the other franchised teams in Valorant's tier-1 tournaments from next year.
