VCT Americas Kickoff 2024: Schedule, Format, and Teams

VCT Americas Kickoff is ready to commence on February 16, 2024, with 10 partnered teams alongside one Ascended team from North America (NA) and South America (SA). The tournament will run until March 3, 2024, with the top togs of Valorant going against each other at a grand stage of Riot Games Arena, Los Angeles. The offline tournament will be the first time where fans will see their favourite VCT teams in action after going through a plethora of changes last year. The winners of the tournament will get to qualify for the VCT 2024: Masters Madrid.

The teams partaking in the upcoming VCT Americas Kickoff event are divided into three groups, each consisting of three to four teams. They are as follows:

VCT Americas 2024 Americas Kickoff Format

For this year's VCT Americas Kickoff, viewers will get to see a three-stage format, including Groups, Play-ins, and Playoff. Here's how each stage will commence:

Group Stage

A double elimination format Group stage consisting of groups A and B. The winners of each group will make it directly to the Playoff stage, with the runner-up advancing to the Play-ins.

Play-in Stage

All the runner-ups from the Group stage will go against each other in a round-robin structure in the Play-ins. The roster with the best results will progress towards the final stage, Playoffs.

Playoff Stage

After the double elimination and round-robin stage, comes the final Playoffs where four remaining teams will fight in a single elimination bracket. The top two finishers will make it to the Masters Madrid. The winners of the VCT Americas Kickoff will also secure three Championship Points.
