CEO of Meta/Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, has officially announced that the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) will be available on all Meta Quest headsets from December 2023 onwards. This news has taken over the gaming space as it could be a game changer for the VR fans in the community. This is another Microsoft/Xbox collaboration that can change the competitive state of the industry.

Xbox Cloud Gaming Ready to Arrive on Meta Quest Headsets This Year
While Zuckerberg offered few details about the feature being available in future Meta Headsets, fans quickly latched on to the information. Moreover, the Meta CEO did not give an exact release date. The company's latest VR headset, the Meta Quest 3, will be fully integrated with Microsoft's cloud gaming services, offering fans a vast library of games to enjoy for their device.
One will have access to a plethora of Xbox Game Pass titles from the library at about $16.99 per month. This is a huge step forward for gamers in the VR space. While many games from the Xbox library won't be fully VR-compatible, one can still enjoy their titles on a floating virtual screen, similar to a feature offered by the Vision Pro Headset from Apple.
Xbox Cloud Gaming services are already available for various devices with Microsoft now branching out to the VR space as they extend their services. Meta will be one of the first to adapt to this service, opening the possibility for many other VR headset makers to walk the same path soon.
Fans interested in getting their hands on the Meta Quest 3 can pre-order the headset from the official website or local retailers. Aside from the teased Cloud Gaming feature from Microsoft, one can also look forward to a unique virtual experience.
