Silent Hill 2 Remake Gets ESRB Rating in North America Following Korean Rating Body
Silent Hill 2 remake is one of the most anticipated titles, as the legendary game which was originally released 22 years ago was deemed as one of the best horror entries in the gaming industry at the time. However, the recent trailer for the game had the Bloober Team president claim that it did not "accurately represent" the game.
From the trailer, many gamers have been drawing speculations regarding the remake, also suspecting a downgrade for the title compared to the original in many ways. However, it is yet to be known. To this, Piotr Babieno, the Bloober Team president has replied by saying that they are not responsible for the marketing and that the trailer certainly does not reflect the actual spirit of the game. He added that players will see a completely different spirit of the Silent Hill 2 remake as the real gameplay is much different than what has been portrayed in the trailers.
With the rating out, one can assume that the Silent Hill 2 remake is a pretty gore and intense horror journey for gamers. Much like the original game, the remake is expected to deliver players a punishing horror experience with a remembering tale. However, the trailers so far have only showcased snippets of the gameplay and the mechanics the remake will bring.
