MSI Intel Gamer Days LAN Fest in Mumbai marked the end of the Intel Gamer Days 2023. Going out with a bang, the event sported a Valorant tournament, meet and greets with the biggest names in Indian gaming, show matches, and community events. On 30 September 2023, fans around Mumbai joined professional players and creators over the weekend at Dublin Square, Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla. Apart from meeting their favorite creators, fans got to try out the latest MSI laptops, participate in CS2 and EA Sports FC 24 tournaments and witness a vibrant cosplay competition. MSI Intel Gamer Days LAN Fest Mumbai: What Went Down
At the MSI Intel Gamer Days LAN Fest, fans met their favorite creators like Xyaa, Euphoria, Willy Gaming, and the whole crew of Global Esports. The LAN Fest also witnessed an intense Valorant Showmatch between two teams led by the founders of Global Esports, Rushindra Sinha (Team Sal) and Mohit Israney (Team Tsuki). With a lot of banter going on between the teams, Team Tsuki won the show match at the end.
Four Valorant teams qualified from the online qualifiers to participate in the MSI Intel Gamer Days LAN Fest finals. The top four teams were Reckoning Esports, Alternate Realities, 7N Esports, and Grayfox Esports. In the first semifinal, Grayfox Esports were up against Alternate Realities on the map of Haven. After a close matchup, Alternate Realities won the best-of-one game and advanced to the grand finals.
In the second semifinal between 7N Esports and Reckoning Esports, Reckoning Esports won the game with a 13-4 scoreline on the map of Sunset. The grand finals between Reckoning Esports and Alternate Realities was a best-of-three game. Reckoning Esports decided to finish the match early as the team won the first map of Bind with a 13-1 scoreline and had a 13-0 scoreline on their second map of Lotus.
With that victory, Reckoning Esports won the MSI Intel Gamer Days Valorant tournament and took the prize money of Rs. 70,000 home. Alternate Realities was the event's runner-up, winning Rs. 40,000 in prize money. Grayfox Esports and 7N Esports won Rs 20,000 for qualifying for the LAN Fest. MSI Intel Gamer Days LAN Fest featured community tournaments where fans could win big in EA Sports FC 24, CS2(2v2), and Mortal Kombat 1. Each game had a prize pool of Rs. 25,000.
