The BGIS 2023 Finals will be taking place as a LAN event with the top 16 teams competing for the trophy, a major chunk of the Rs 2 Crore prize pool, and bragging rights. With a lot of controversy surrounding the tournament and its action against unfair practices from Day 1, Krafton is now taking measures to ensure players compete in a fair environment during the Grand Finals. Here are the updated measures put in place.

What Is Krafton Doing To Handle Hackers In The BGIS 2023 Finals?
According to a tweet by Lets Grow Esports, Krafton will be taking a lot of measures to provide all the players with a level playing at the LAN to maintain fair play at the tournament that will be taking place in front of a live audience. In the tweet, the account said that Krafton itself will be providing players with an iPhone 14 and the devices will be checked by them thoroughly.
"Players are being given a new ID for BGIS Finals. They’ll be playing in IPhone 14 Pros only for BGIS Finals which are checked & provided by Krafton…"
Over the course of the quarter-long event, Krafton banned a lot of teams and disqualified many others for using unfair means to gain an advantage over the competition. Reasons include ringing, unauthorized devices, and hacking. For the unversed, using an iPad, tablet, or triggers is not allowed in the tournament.

The top eight teams from this event will also represent India at the Korea-India friendly matches that will take place after the event. The BGIS 2023 Grand Finals will take place on October 12 and will wrap up on October 15. October 14 will be an off day for the teams.
The matches will be taking place at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai. The arena is capable of hosting over 8,000 people and the fans can go watch the matches on either of the days or all three days by booking the tickets from BookMyShow. Entry to the event is completely free and the audience just has to book the tickets which went on sale on October 8, 2023. If fans are unable to book the tickets online, they can go to the venue and get the tickets from there as well.
