Hitman is one of the most popular franchises by the Danish video game developers IO Interactive. The game studio will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and to celebrate the occasion with its fans, IO Interactive, in collaboration with Feral Interactive, will their popular title Hitman: Blood Money to Android and iOS devices alongside Nintendo Switch. Under the banner, Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal, the game will have some tweaks to provide the best possible experience for smaller screens like mobile devices.
Under their trailer for the Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal, Feral Interactive says, "Reprisal is a comprehensive reworking of the stealth-action classic, refined for screens large and small — with a new Minimap, Instinct Mode, and gameplay improvements inspired by later games in the series." The launch dates are yet to be announced, but the game will first be available on mobile devices, followed by its launch on Nintendo Switch.
Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal Is Coming To Mobile Devices In Autumn 2023
In the game Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal, the players will assume the role of the protagonist, Agent 47, who is a renowned professional assassin. The game was released in 2006 and was initially available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Xbox 360 platforms.
Throughout the game, the player has to carry out hits on high-profile targets using stealth, disguises, and a variety of weapons and tools. The open-ended gameplay of Hitman: Blood Money allows players to approach missions differently, depending on their preferred play style. Thanks to the game's engaging narration and intriguing plot twists, Hitman: Blood Money received applause from the fans, making it the favourite title of the franchise.
Since the gaming industry has come a long way since 2006, Feral Interactive and IO Interactive have been working on bringing changes and new features to the game. In their recent tweets, Feral Interactive shared new features and mobile HUD with their fans.
The Reprisal will feature a new minimap, where players can keep track of the guards and targets, assisting players in focusing on their missions. Moreover, unlike the original game, agents will receive a warning upon entering a restricted area if the guards get suspicious. Players will be able to toggle these options in the settings. Even though the dates for the launch aren't out, it is said that Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal will be available on mobile by Autumn 2023 while on Switch in winter 2023.
