Blind Esports' IGL Opens Up About Spower's Departure From The BGMI Team

During the winner's interview, the team was asked about Spower being benched, and what their side of the story was since players already knew that Spower had left Blind.

ManYa, the IGL of the team, narrated the incidents that led to Spower being benched. ManYa began by saying they were a five-man roster and Spower has played 95% of the matches since joining the team. He also added that whenever Spower was not seen playing, it was because he wanted a break and wanted to relax or go out and he said that all of this is understandable.

ManYa also said that they tried telling him that he's been playing solo recently, which is not good for the team, and that he needs to play with the squad so that there isn't a setback for them. He said that there was an ideological difference between them and Spower. He said:

"He (Spower) was running more behind the MVP title and not playing with them, which is why we asked him to take a day's break"

ManYa continued to say that after he was given a rest for six matches, ManYa began giving excuses for not being available for the team.

"Sometimes he had to go out. One day he decided he didn't want to play. The third day he said that his father isn't allowing him to play anymore"

ManYa made it clear that the decision to give him a break was taken keeping in mind that the team was in the middle of the UE tournament. It is unclear, for now, which BGMI team Spower will go to. If rumors are to be believed, he is likely to join his previous organisation of GodLike Esports, but that is unconfirmed as of now.
