With the unbanning of BGMI, the game has seen a massive response from the community. Content creators, esports players, and professional organizations are in full-swing preparation to celebrate the comeback of the popular battle royale game in the country.
As much as BGMI’s comeback has benefitted the Indian gaming community, it has also led to the recovery of negative aspects related to the game. In a recent update from the Indian Gaming Community, Payal “Payal Gaming” Dhare claimed to receive severe toxicity and hate from the community.

Fake fan pages are not new to the community. Similarly, one such fan page by the name “GodL Demon" in a recent Instagram story, put up a post of Payal and asked his followers to spread hate in the comment section of that post from Payal. After the incident, WhatsApp chats from such fan pages got leaked on social media. During her stream, Payal clarified the issue and confirmed that she had talked with Goldy about the matter and that Goldy had further approached GodL Ghatak.
Moving forward, GodL Ghatak clarified the issues through an Instagram story, where he confirmed that GodL will be reviewing the matter with absolute priority and strict actions will be taken against the people concerned. Unfortunately, this is not the first time Indian Gaming Community has seen such a massive backlash in the ecosystem. Many such instances have already occurred in the past and what's even more concerning is the fact that problems like these go unhindered and people tend to forget about the fact that their words may bring about a big change in the community. It is also our responsibility as an audience and fanbase to take matters into our hands and prevent these things from happening in the future.
