"Did Hyderabad Hydras just get him for heal battles?" - Humanoid Responds To Critics

In Round 1 of BGIS 2023 The Grind, when the newly formed Hyderabad Hydras were trying to make it to the next phase, Joker and his boys, Ultron, Syed, BopeDope, Doome, and Humanoid were stuck in a rather sticky spot. Here, audiences saw Humanoid going in for a heal battle in Sanhok, a map with a reputation for late-game heal battles. Since it was his first match, the casters asked if Hyderabad Hydras got him just for that. Humanoid believed that he did what was required for his team.

"I had more first aid than anyone else in the team so It was my own decision to do heal battle to gather placement points for the team."

Joker, the IGL who has been a part of Humanoid's previous teams showed full faith in him and the team eventually made it to the top 8 of their group and into the next round. While they managed to progress in this event, a setback hit the team when they couldn't make it to BGMS 2023 LAN. As a BGMI team, Humanoid thinks that HH has more potential, and he as a player has more untapped talent as well:

"Journey was really a comeback as I was already joker’s teammate two years back, I made mistakes, learned from them and now I’m back on track."

Commenting on how they plan to approach Round 2, Humanoid said that they are looking to have a more dynamic approach and would work on the mistakes they made in the past. He said:

"We’ll focus on finishes and we’ll have a dynamic approach for fights. To be honest, it depends on the situation"

Come round 2, the team definitely had more poise and finesse in how they moved around the maps in the six matches. Humanoid was seen initiating a heal battle when all the other members of his squad were eliminated from fights. Getting crucial placement points for his team, Humanoid ensures they maintain a strong position in Round 3.

"The only thing I learned from mistakes is not to repeat them. The current round isn’t for making mistakes cause apologies and regret won’t help the team to qualify."

Humanoid adapted from being a heal battle player to an extremely well-rounded assaulter in the last match of Round 3. With four frags to his name, Humanoid was one of the top 5 fraggers of the match, right behind his teammates, Ultron and Joker.
