Popular and long-awaited PlayStation title Sonic X Generations has officially been revealed in the PlayStation State of Play 2024. This PS event is the first one of the year as claimed by Sony, that said Sonic X Generations has made it to the reveal list. The upcoming title is a remastered version of Sonic Generations, titled Sonic X Shadow Generations.  The official reveal trailer for the title showcased plenty of content for fans to munch on; however, there is a lot more to uncover.

Sonic X Generations Sees Light During State of Play 2024 Stream

The original Sonic Generations was released back in 2011 as a part of the 20th anniversary celebrations. With the title more than a decade old, developers decided to give it a remaster with Sonic X Shadow Generations. The game will get its re-release in 2024. This is the first time gamers have seen a glimpse of this game after repeated leaks from various sources online. However, gamers are happy to see an official tease from Sega. Gamers are celebrating the fan-favorite anti-hero Shadow as he was also teased in the teaser. 

Sonic X Shadow Generations isn't the first remaster from Sega. In the past, the studio has released plenty of remastered titles from various franchises. That said, Sonic Generations is a cult classic for PlayStation fans as the title has defined the entire genre with peak gameplay and renowned characters. While previous re-released titles like Sonic Colors: Ultimate were met with mixed reception in 2021, gamers are hoping for a better remaster with Sonic X Shadow Generations.

Activision Blizzard has confirmed that Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Open Beta was the biggest in the franchise's history through an official X post. Sony officially revealed the PlayStation 5 Pro at their Technical Presentation today.
